Terms of Service

In this document "we" means PT Sarana Keadilan Nasional, the operator of JagaHukum, registered at Blok 04 RT 001 RW 004, Kebonturi, Arjawinangun, Kabupaten Cirebon, Jawa Barat 45162, Indonesia. "You" means the person or entity that creates an account.

• Service means jagahukum.com, the workspace, the web app, and the JagaHukum programming interfaces.
• User Content means the questions, documents, drafts, figures, and results you enter or save.
• Output means the answers, drafts, summaries, and calculations the service produces at your request.
• Corpus means the collection of regulations, rulings, and public legal documents we gather and index.
• Plan means the service tier you choose together with its quota and price.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent. If you register on behalf of a law firm or company, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity to these terms.

These terms apply together with the Privacy Policy. Where a plan has specific conditions, they are shown before you select it.

JagaHukum is a research and drafting tool. Output is produced by language models from the corpus and may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Output is not legal advice, creates no lawyer and client relationship, and does not replace professional judgement.

Every citation must be checked against the official text before it is used for a decision, a document, or a legal opinion. Responsibility for legal decisions stays with you or your legal adviser.

• Accounts are created through Sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account confidential and for all activity in it.
• One account per person. Shared use only through team features on plans that provide them.
• Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• We may suspend an account that shows signs of abuse while notifying you.

The service includes Legal Chat, Document Review, Legal Drafting, Legal Calculator, Library, and Document Tools. Available features, quota limits, and file sizes depend on your plan and are shown on the pricing page.

• Quotas are counted per billing period and do not roll over.
• Features labelled beta may change or be withdrawn without reducing the core features of your plan.
• We may rate limit requests to keep the service fair for all users.

• Invoices are in Indonesian rupiah and include applicable tax. Payments are processed by a third party payment provider.
• Paid plans renew automatically each period until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and access stays full until then.
• Upgrades apply immediately with the price difference prorated. Downgrades apply from the next period.
• A full refund can be requested within 7 days of the first payment for a paid plan as long as less than 10 percent of the quota has been used.
• Price changes are announced 30 days in advance and do not affect periods already paid.

Yours

User Content and the Output you generate remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display User Content solely to run the service for you. The licence ends when you delete the content.

Ours

The software, interface, corpus index, brand, and arrangement of the service belong to us or our licensors. Regulations and rulings in the corpus are public documents not protected by copyright under Article 42 of Law 28/2014, but the way we compile and index them is protected.

Your warranty

You represent that you are entitled to upload every document you send and that the upload does not infringe the rights of others, client confidentiality, or applicable law.

• Using the service to break the law or harm others.
• Uploading documents you are not entitled to upload or that contain other people’s personal data without a basis.
• Extracting the corpus in bulk, automatically, or systematically to build a competing service or a separate database.
• Reverse engineering, bypassing security controls, or disrupting the availability of the service.
• Reselling access or sharing programming interface keys with unauthorised parties.
• Presenting Output as an official legal opinion from JagaHukum.

We work to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee it will be free of interruption. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where possible.

We may add, change, or withdraw features. Withdrawal of a core feature of a paid plan is announced 30 days ahead together with a way to export your data.

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, or loss arising from decisions taken on the basis of Output without checking the official source.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You agree to hold us harmless from third party claims arising from User Content you upload or from your breach of these terms.

• You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
• We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, with notice unless the breach endangers other users or the service.
• After termination you have 30 days to export your data, unless termination was for a serious breach. Data is then deleted under the Privacy Policy.
• Provisions on intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

Material changes are announced by email and in the workspace at least 30 days before they take effect. If you disagree, you can delete your account before the effective date. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes are first addressed through good faith negotiation within 30 days of one party giving written notice of the dispute.

If negotiation fails, the parties elect the District Court of Sumber, Cirebon Regency, without limiting your rights as a consumer under Law 8/1999.

The Indonesian text is binding under Law 24/2009. Other language versions are provided for convenience.
